A Message from Mayor James A. Keene:

Welcome to the Derry Community Online homepage! As your mayor, I am proud to bring our wonderful town into the information age. Derry has a rich history dating back to 1837, and we are excited to share our community with the world through this new medium.

Our town sits along the beautiful Penobscot River and the scenic Kenduskeag Stream. We are a community that looks after each other and takes pride in our heritage. I encourage all residents to explore this site and stay connected.

"Derry is a fine town. We take care of our own."
— Mayor Keene, October 1994

Does anyone else hear singing coming from the drains at night?? Not joking. Been going on 3 weeks now. Sounds like children. My wife thinks I'm crazy.

To whoever keeps defacing library books with drawings of a turtle — please stop. These are public property. Also, I know what year it is. I know it's happening again. If you're reading this and you remember... call me. You promised.
